The first look of Saurabh Gupta’s directorial debut teases a blend of intimacy and raw intensity.
The first official poster for the highly anticipated film Laikey Laikaa, starring fresh talents Rasha Thadani and Abhay Verma, has been released. Eschewing the traditional romantic tropes, the poster presents a striking and gritty visual: two pairs of worn sneakers—one blue and one red—touching on a narrow ledge against a distressed, graffiti-covered wall.
The artwork, marked by splashes of blood-red paint and a cracked heart logo, suggests that this “Summer Romance” comes with a dark, intense twist. Directed by Saurabh Gupta (known for his writing work on Animal), the film is being produced by Phantom Studios. While the plot remains under wraps, the tagline—”She’s the chaos. He’s the calm. Or is it the other way around?”—has already piqued the interest of fans. Laikey Laikaa is scheduled to hit theaters in Summer 2026, marking a significant project for both Rasha, following her debut in Azaad, and Abhay, who recently rose to fame with Munjya.
